Eric Schmidt Google former Steps Down As Alphabet’s Executive Chairman

Alphabet has reported that previous Google CEO Eric Schmidt will step down from his role as Alphabet's executive chairman.Eric Schmidt will be transferred to another position as a technical advisor at the organization as he keeps on serving on Alphabet's board. 
Schmidt has served in senior parts at Google since 2001 when he was first expedited by Larry Page and Sergey Brin as the search giant’s Chief executive. He stepped down from the role to take the role  of  Google and later Alphabet's executive chairman, a role he's served in until today.

In a statement, Eric Schmidt commented that "Larry, Sergey, Sundar and I all trust that the time is right in Alphabet's evolution for this change. The Alphabet structure is functioning admirably, and Google and the Other Bets are flourishing." He additionally noted that he'd keep on being growing his work in science and technology issues and philanthropy.
