The Australian company division uploaded a video of a camouflaged ranger raptor at test mule hitting jumps and flying through the outback to go alongside the announcement. And hoo boy does it look first-rate.
Ford hasn't revealed any specs or overall performance figures but, but based totally on what was revealed on this video, it appears that the ranger raptor could be ready with an extended travel suspension just like the to the F-150 Raptor's, as well as large, huge, wide bumper flares and bigger, more greater aggressive tires, probably BF Goodrich All-TerrainT/A KO2 tires. The powertrain remains a mystery.
As per the video, the Ranger Raptor will debut in manufacturing guise someday in 2018. As for whether this specific model would be available in North America, that is as yet unknown. Ford has introduced that the ranger model will go back to America market in 2019, however it's hazy whether or not that means the current Australian/South African model that this Raptor variant is based totally on, or any other model altogether.
Update: a Ford spokesperson showed to R&T that the Ranger Raptor shown right here will best be available in Australia and New Zealand.
Watch the released video for yourself and see for self the way it jumps
